From April, over the spring and the autumn, Villa Venier in Mira (Venice), operative office of the Regional Institute of Venetian Villas (IRVV), is open to the public during the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Instead during the week it is possible to visit the Villa making an appointment from 10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m. Visitors will be able to admire decorations and frescoes in the halls and in the "barchesse", have a break in the park, use the film library and the free wifi. Schools at all levels can visit the Villa with a guided tour thanks to the project "Scholastic tourism in Villa". Giuliana Fontanella, president of IRVV, says "we want students to approach to the cultural and territorial heritage. Villas can become an usual teaching mean".
