The scholastic project "The Venetian Villas: a resource to know, to valorize, to promote", sponsored by The Regional Institute of Venetian Villas, Venetian Promotion, Miur Veneto and the Region of Veneto, is coming to an end with the prizegiving of the venetian winning schools Saturday 31st May in Villa Venier Contarini in Mira. The event will start at 10.00 a.m. with the greetings authorities and the presentation of the project which consisted in a competition for primary and secondary schools of Veneto, to create multimedia, musical or literary projects. The winning schools are six: "IIS Masotto" from Noventa Vicentina, "IC Giovanni XXIII" from Pianiga and "IC Baseggio" from Marghera; "S. G. Bosco" from Chiampo. The board has decided to give a special mention to the "Madonna dell’Annunciazione" from Borbiago in Mira and to two classes of "Barbarani" school from Minerbe. After the awards ceremony there will be the musical performances of the winning schools and the entertainment of the "Orchestra giovanile di Bassano del Grappa". The event will be finished at 12.00 p.m. with a snack in the park.
